Qi Gong and Tai Chi Fundamentals 5-Week Series BEGINS
Join me for a gentle, nourishing movement series designed to develop internal energy, support health and happiness, and cultivate peaceful intention.
In this five-week Qi Gong series open to all people, you’ll be guided through light, flowing movements drawn from several forms of Qi Gong, along with foundational principles from Tai Chi Chu’an—a martial branch of Qi Gong that emphasizes internal strength, continuity, and grounded presence. While this series stands fully on its own, it is also intended as a supportive precursor to future internal martial arts training, which can help cultivate resilience, stability, and strength from the inside out.
There are many different kinds of moving and meditative Qi Gong practiced around the world today. Not all forms work with internal energy in the same way or with the same depth. In this series, we will be practicing heart-centered forms that I have found to be particularly effective at moving, balancing, and harmonizing energy—while remaining gentle, accessible, and supportive of the nervous system.
The practices shared in this series are open to all people and are curated from my ongoing study and practice since 2012 with teachers including Qi Gong Master Ou, Tai Chi Chu’an Master Vincent Chu, Paul Fraser, and Minke de Vos.
This work is especially beneficial for:
-
Supporting harmony and the even resolution of chronic health challenges
-
Healthy aging, vitality, and internal strength
-
Emotional balance and nervous system regulation
-
Overall well-being and embodied presence
We’ll focus on simple, easy-to-learn movements that you can realistically integrate into daily life. Each class will also include a short self-healing meditation protocol to support inner balance and the body’s natural capacity for restoration.
Practicing together matters—whether in the same place or at the same time. When we move and cultivate energy in a shared intentional field, the experience is often amplified: more grounded, more present, and more nourishing than practicing alone. I am very much looking forward to sharing this space and practice with you.
